Product Review: Wilson Blade SW 104 Countervail Autograph

It is no secret that the Wilson tennis racquet that Serena Williams has been using and winning with was no ordinary off the shelf version of the Blade 104. Thankfully, Wilson has decided to release the new Blade SW 104 Countervail Autograph that is in fact used by Serena Williams.

There are many differences in this autograph version of the Blade 104 compared to the standard Blade 104 racquet. First and foremost, the SW autograph edition stretches to a full 28 inches in length as opposed to the 27.5 inch of the standard Blade 104 racquet. So what can you expect from playing with a 28 inch length racquet which also happens to have a larger 104 square inch head size? More reach and more power! But the Blade SW 104 is not without a fair amount of control thanks to its somewhat dense 18×19 string pattern.

This new offering also adds both Countervail and Power Holes Technology, which is a uniquely flexible carbon layer designed to filter out harsh impact vibrations while the Power Holes enables the string bed to absorb additional shock and transfer more power to your game.

The new Wilson Blade SW 104 Countervail Autograph is now available to demo and purchase at First Serve Tennis.
