Adidas has officially launched their new Art Pack footwear collection, inspired by the world of art and in tribute to those who express themselves on the court. This new Art Pack footwear collection is made up of the Barricade 2017 Pop Art, Ubersonic 2 Art Nouveau and the AdiZero Ubersonic 2 Street Art.
The first release that we have received for men is the Barricade 2017 Pop Art edition which was inspired by the artists of the Pop Art Movement that re-defined how modern art interacts with popular culture. Alec Chan of Adidas Tennis said it best:
“When the best tennis players take to the court, they bring with them their own style, similar to artists. With the Art Pack we wanted to pay homage to these great creators of the court with a product that matches their own style.”
The new Adidas Barricade 2017 Pop Art shoe features an over-the-top color palette and a repeating tennis ball pattern draped across the upper that draws its inspiration inspired from Andy Warhol’s iconic Campbell’s Soup Can art work.
This Pop Art edition of the Barricade 2017 offers the exact same features that the diehard Barricade faithful have come to expect – -maximum stability, maximum support, and amazing outsole durability. Even this new limited edition version offers the same knit upper as the general release Barricade 2017 which is not only comfortable and breathable but good to go out of the box requiring little if any break in time. And last but not least, this limited edition model offers a six month outsole guarantee!
If you are into being noticed or making a fashion statement but insist upon wearing a long lasting, technical court shoe, this is by far the one to own! The new Adidas Barricade 2017 Pop Art Edition is now available at First Serve Tennis.
