Wilson over the years has offered many different versions of performance racquets utilizing ISO-ZORB components in the throat to minimize shock and vibration and this new Wilson Triad Five continues that legacy. This new offering is identical to last year’s Wilson Five 103 model as it has the same exact specifications and shares the same mold as the previous model.
The Wilson Triad Five comes in with a 103 square inch sized head which some have argued that a 103 square inch head is optimal for all court play. The sweet spot size on the Triad Five is actually larger in size than most other tennis racquets with identical head sizes due to Wilson utilizing their Articulated Grommet Technology at 3 and 6 ‘clock on the face of the racquet which produces an enlarged sweetspot without having to increase the actual head size.
Wilson’s ISO-ZORB technology is also utilized in this new Triad Five. This sandwich style design in the throat has ISO-ZORB strategically placed between the head of the racquet and shaft to absorb any and all vibrations making this model one of the most comfortable tennis racquets on the market. The Triad Five has been especially attractive to players with a history of tennis elbow and shoulder issues.
The Wilson Triad Five also features Hammer Technology, which is Wilson’s technology system whereby weight is removed from the handle and left in the upper portion of the racquet head making the balance head heavy and stretching the sweetspot literally from tip to tip. Add to this the racquet’s longer length of 27.5 inches makes this nice option for those who are looking for a game improvement tennis racquet with lots of extra features and technologies.
The new Wilson Triad Five is now available for demo and for purchase at First Serve Tennis.
